Peter is Head of Property Finance at Leumi UK, having joined the business in April 2021. Peter is armed with almost 20 years of real estate finance experience.  During his career he has worked across almost all property sectors and worked with all types of borrowers – from individual entrepreneurs to global institutional capital to the largest UK listed companies.

Prior to Leumi UK Peter was a Relationship Director in the Real Estate & Housing team at Lloyds Banking Group and before that he was a Relationship Director in the Real Estate Finance team at Santander UK plc.  His prior real estate finance roles have equipped him with a deep understanding of the property lending market, making him well-prepared to navigate the challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Peter brings to Leumi UK an incredibly strong external network and together with the team he leads plays a pivotal role in growing Leumi UK’s real estate finance exposure.

Chris has specialised in real estate finance spanning over a decade and brings a wealth of experience to his role. His expertise encompasses a diverse range of financing structures, including bilateral, club, and syndicated lending, and he is proficient in dealing with both secured and unsecured arrangements. This broad skill set covers all sub-sectors of real estate finance.

Prior to joining Leumi UK, Chris's career was marked by significant accomplishments in the debt capital markets sector. He has a proven track record of working with FTSE 100 and 250 companies, including at Barclays and NatWest/RBS, where he was instrumental in delivering a variety of financial services. His areas of focus included the execution of private placements, convertible bonds, liability management, and interest rate derivative services.

Chris demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape and is able to navigate complex market dynamics effectively.

Dan has specialised in the commercial real estate sector for 15 years. His experience has seen him work across all sub-sectors of the industry and enabled him to forge relationships with a multitude of clients, spanning from individual entrepreneurs to international funds and REITS.

Prior to Leumi UK, Dan was a Relationship Director in the Real Estate Finance team at Santander UK and before that he held various roles at Nationwide Building Society specialising in real estate finance origination, syndication, restructuring and project finance.  

Dan brings to Leumi UK a deep-rooted understanding and experience in originating and structuring all types of real estate finance transactions. Not only does it highlight his proficiency but also positions him as a valuable asset able to navigate complex and intricate transactions.

Gez has had an extensive career in the financial sector with a focus on business development and commercial consulting. He spent 24 years at Barclays Bank, where he held the position of Business Development Director. This position underscored his ability to drive growth and innovation within the bank.

Following his time at Barclays, Gez joined Iridium Finance as a Partner for three years, specializing in debt funding for property acquisitions. He later worked as a Business Development Partner at Clydesdale Bank PLC for six years, showcasing his expertise in business development.

Gez brings to Leumi UK an accumulated wealth of experience in the finance industry, particularly in the areas of debt funding and property acquisitions.

He has over 20 years’ banking experience in front line roles, mostly as a Senior Director where he excelled in origination and relationship management in organisations including Santander, Lloyds Banking Group and Bank of Scotland. In this capacity, Guy focused on serving high-growth large corporate clients, with a specialism in the healthcare sector and working with a diverse group that included entities owned by private equity funds, high-net-worth individuals, and publicly owned companies.

Guy brings to Leumi UK the ability to lead business developments across the property finance market, reinforcing his reputation as a seasoned professional in the finance sector with a deep commitment to fostering corporate success.

James has a degree in Engineering from Loughborough University, enabling his technical expertise, critical thinking and problem solving to compliment his strong acumen in finance and management.

Matilda has a strong professional background in finance, with almost four years of experience at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, including roles as an Analyst, specialising in Property Development and Investment, and a Graduate, in Business and Private Banking as well as CommSec.

Matilda’s journey in finance began at Vision Property and Finance, where she contributed significantly as a Financial Planner Assistant, supporting financial planners and honing her foundational skills in finance.

Academically, Matilda holds both a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia. Additionally, she enriched her international perspective through a semester exchange in International Business at IPAG Business School in Nice, France.

This diverse educational background, combined with her extensive professional experience, makes Matilda an invaluable asset to Leumi UK.

Oliver brings a wealth of expertise across the real estate market to Leumi UK’s Property Finance team, with over 13 years of experience across corporate real estate finance, investment banking and private equity.

Prior to Leumi UK, Stenning was Head of Acquisitions at residential investment firm IMMO Capital, where he focused on residential portfolio acquisitions across Germany, Spain and the UK. Before that, Oliver was a real estate banker for more than a decade, responsible for financing European real estate transactions and covering a variety of sponsors, most recently as a Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate team at investment bank Morgan Stanley, and before that at NatWest/Royal Bank of Scotland. He has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex non-recourses transactions across the capital stack, as well as corporate financing, M&A and related risk management products.

Oliver holds a BSc in Finance, Investment and Risk from the London Institute of Banking & Finance and is passionate about sport, particularly mountain running, travel and food.

Prior to joining Leumi, she worked as a Property Finance Analyst at Westpac New Zealand, gaining valuable insights into the property finance market. Sonia also served as a Client & Risk Analyst at Macquarie Group and an Associate at Grant Thornton Australia which further broadened her knowledge base and analytical skills.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and marketing from the University of Sydney and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma from Kristin School, Sonia complements her practical experience with strong academic foundations.

Sonia brings to Leumi UK a diverse background and commitment to excellence with a comprehensive skill set making her a valuable asset to the team as she provides standout service to clients.

Yair’s primary role at Leumi UK is to build on strong client relationships and support their business growth by providing bespoke lending facilities and specialist business advice.

Yair has been part of Leumi Group for over 15 years and throughout his career, he has managed a credit portfolio with a wide range of large and complex financing arrangements, including land acquisition, the construction of income-producing properties, residential construction, combination transactions and urban renewal, in addition to extensive syndication transactions.

While being part of the real estate division at Leumi Group, Yair is now part of Leumi UK and acts as a vital corridor to the Israeli investor market into UK property. Yair has developed strong relationships with different stakeholders while focusing on deal executions and gaining market knowledge.
