Bank Leumi (UK) offers a flexible mortgage facility primarily designed for the purchase of UK residential real estate by high net worth international executives and professionals.
The facility is available in Sterling as well as US Dollars, Euro and other major currencies with a minimum amount of £1,000,000, and subject to a maximum advance ratio of 65% of the purchase price or valuation (the lower of the two).
The mortgage is interest only and repayable within a maximum 5 year term (renewable at the Bank’s discretion). The mortgage rate is at an agreed margin over BBA LIBOR. In appropriate cases we are able to offer multi currency options to allow the mortgage to be switched during its lifetime.
Total capital will be paid at the end of the term with capital repayments possible, without penalty, once the loan has been outstanding for a year.
Our ability to provide mortgages via our offshore subsidiary- Bank Leumi (Jersey)- may offer tax planning advantages to customers.
